Now, some might say that this means there is less of her to love, but I disagree. The love I have for her knows no bounds, and each little bit of her can now receive more love per square inch, it's concentrated more now in other words.
Anyway, everyone in the family is proud of how well she's been doing, and her path has not been an easy one. She gave up two of her favorite foods, breads and potatoes, to get to this point. She also has kicked sugars to the curb.
According to my precious Keri, "No food is worth me being fat."
She's right. Our government would probably need a committee to study this for months, but let me tell you slimming down feels great. Keri has been an inspiration to me and others that she knows, we are gaining control over our lives as we follow her lead. I know how much better I feel, and I can imagine how much better she must feel, too.
Back some thirteen months ago, the fifty pound mark seemed like an unattainable goal for her, and now look! She has lost almost triple that amount. Way to go girlfriend!
Thank you sweetheart for having the courage to begin this journey, and the fortitude to keep going on even when you haven't wanted to. You have certainly been my inspiration over this past year and a month.
