What a beautiful day we had again today. Never mind that it rained pretty much all day; the temperature got up to 70o!!! That my friends makes it a beautiful day.
Today was Morgan’s second 4-H meeting, she wanted to join and this is her first year. She is in photography, very cool, and cats. Yuck!
Since it was so nice we decided to walk her to the meeting, it was only about a mile away. Then Keri suggested we pick up Brendan and Katlyn, this is their first year too. So we went about a half mile out of our way to get them which made our walk that much more pleasant.
We walked for an hour exactly; it rained the whole way but we didn’t mind at all. Keri and Morgan each had an umbrella, while I had a water resistant hood on my jacket that I could pull up when it rained too hard for comfort. When we left the meetin’ hall I took Morgan’s umbrella.
No, I didn’t leave the poor girl stranded. When her meeting was over I picked her up in the truck, with the umbrella just in case.
I am so glad to have this warm weather; it makes me feel so alive when I get out like this and I love the family time.
